Rehabilitation Services Consultant/Case Manager

Taking charge of the rehabilitation process by assessing the individuals and family needs. This is usually the initial contact for the family to facilitate, educate, and inform them of the rehabilitation services and choices they may have.

At Latitude Rehabilitation Consultants we provide rehabilitation consulting services to the motor vehicle injured individual and his or her family. There are some important choices that you and your family will have to make through this whole process. The Rehabilitation Consultant will educate and guide you and your family from the beginning to the end of your recovery and healing process. We will make available to you and your family the appropriate professionals who will provide rehabilitation services.  At Latitude Rehabilitation Consultants, Ltd we also maintain listings of other services and professionals that are a definite asset to you and your family.
We believe from past experience that support should be available soon after the event occurs.  Latitude Rehabilitation Consultants have obtained the skills and knowledge from our own traumatic experience to work with your legal representative/insurance carrier to adequately guide you through this process.

Grief  Recovery Counselling

There are more than 40 life events that can create the range of human emotions called grief. Death of a Loved One [or Less Than Loved One], Divorce, Estrangements, Financial Changes and Health Issues head the list. Whether the loss was recent or long ago, it may still be limiting your ability to participate fully in life. We offer individual, group and management workshop.

Helping the individual cope with those feelings that are hindering the vocational adjustment

Family Counselling

Assisting the individual and the family in dealing with the disability or a traumatic experience in their life.

Vocational Counselling/Assessments (Case Manager)

This is the restoration of an individual’s physical, cognitive, social vocational and economic capabilities greatest extent possible. Some of the specialties may include work evaluator, work adjustment specialist, and job placement specialist.

Life Care Planning

Also known as "cost of future care". More importantly this is the summation of all available information (health records, specialists reports, family history, education, work history, etc.) which is really the road map for current and future needs of a catastrophically disabled individual. The International Association of Life Care Planners defined it as “a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis, and research, which provides an organized, concise plan for current and future needs, with associated costs, for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health needs.”

Latitude offers a team of experts to plan the future cost care of an individual that has suffered a catastrophic injury. Our specialist have access to many health professionals can work in conjunction with specialist in construction and industrial engineering for work site evaluations.

Catastrophic Case Management

A rehabilitation professional that will coordinate rehabilitation services following a catastrophic injury. Latitude Rehabilitation Consultants has experienced health professionals that have worked with individuals and his families in these daunting times of their lives.

Attendant Care Assessment

Performed by a health care professional for the activities of daily living. This includes such things as cooking, cleaning, or helping the injured person get dressed.

Housekeeping Assessments

That the injured person performed or was responsible for doing such as housework, interior maintenance and repair, exterior maintenance and repair, lawn and yard care, and household management.

Massage Therapy

Latitude offers massage therapy services. Our services are not limited to the injured individual but also to the community at large.

Massage therapy is an assessment and manipulation of the body’s soft tissue and joints. When started after accidents involving trauma and injury it can reduce the development of painful muscular conditions and alleviate many chronic pain syndromes.
